The King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD) has launched the “Modern Technology Horizons” Project, aimed at building the capacities of Jordanian youth and professionals working in modern technology fields by equipping them with the skills needed to keep pace with rapid technological advancements and enhance their readiness for the labor market. The project is implemented in partnership with the Consultation and Training Center at Princess Sumaya University for Technology.
Director General of the King Abdullah II Fund for Development, Dr. Samer Al-Mofleh, said the project reflects the KAFD’s commitment to investing in Jordanian talent and aligns with the objectives of the Economic Modernization Vision to develop human capital, strengthen digital skills, and better align education and training outcomes with labor market needs.
He added that the project provides specialized training programs that keep pace with rapid developments in modern technology and contribute to preparing qualified professionals equipped with the skills required by today’s labor market and the jobs of the future.
The project seeks to develop participants’ skills across a range of modern technology fields through specialized training programs that combine theoretical knowledge with practical application, enabling participants to gain hands-on experience, earn recognized professional certifications, and enhance their readiness to enter high-demand technology sectors.
KAFD invited interested applicants to submit their applications electronically through its application platform, complete the application form, and upload the required documents. The selection process includes a Technical Assessment relevant to the selected training program, followed by a personal interview.
Applicants must be Jordanian nationals between the ages of 21 and 30 and hold at least a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field or have relevant professional experience in the training program’s area. Applicants must also be fully committed to attending all stages of the project.
