Run Jordan announced the return of the Bromine Women's Race in its fifth edition, scheduled to take place on Friday, June 12, 2026, at Al Hussein Public Parks under the slogan "Run for You." The event is organized by Run Jordan and Greater Amman Municipality with Bromine as the main sponsor and Arab Bank as the gold sponsor, in addition to Jordan Tourism Board, Ghadeer Water, Zain, Aramex, Al Dayaa, Al Qayser Pizza, Siniora, Sports Partner Rize up Sports Complex and several supporting entities.

The Bromine Women's Race continues to strengthen its position as one of Jordan's leading community sports initiatives dedicated to supporting women by providing an inspiring and inclusive platform that encourages women and girls to engage in sports while promoting health, confidence, and an active lifestyle.

This year's edition reflects Run Jordan's ongoing vision to a more inclusive and impactful sporting experience that highlights women's growing presence in the sports sector and encourages their participation in community activities in a way that embodies empowerment, positivity, and social engagement.

The event will feature two race categories: 2.6 km and 5.2 km. The 2.6 km race is specifically designed for participants aged 8–14 years old, with the aim of encouraging younger generations to adopt sports as part of a healthy lifestyle from an early age while fostering confidence and a spirit of participation among girls.

Lina El-Kurd, General Manager of Run Jordan, stated that the Bromine Women's Race is more than a sporting event; it is a platform that celebrates women's strength, determination, and achievements. She added that the event's continued growth reflects the increasing awareness of the importance of women's sports in Jordan and the positive role sports play in society as Women are the Backbone of society.

El-Kurd also commended the valuable support of partners and sponsors in ensuring the event's continued success, emphasizing that such collaborations contribute to creating a meaningful social impact and reinforce the role of sports as an essential element of quality of life.

Run Jordan invited women and girls from across the Kingdom to take part in this special event, which will begin on Friday morning in an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, encouragement, and positive energy.
