International Recognition for the 50KM Race at the Dead Sea Ultra Marathon Strengthens Jordan's Presence in Endurance Sports

In a new achievement that strengthens Jordan's presence on the global endurance sports map, the 50KM race within the Dead Sea Ultra Marathon has received an international Label and recognition from the International Association of Ultrarunners (IAU) for the 2026 edition, which will take place on April 10, 2026.

This classification confirms that the 50KM race meets the internationally recognized organizational and technical standards for ultramarathon races, granting the event a distinguished position among global endurance competitions and enabling runners to have their results officially recognized internationally.

Ms. Lina Kurd, General Manager of the Run Jordan, expressed her pride in this achievement, stating:
"The international Label of the 50KM race at the Dead Sea Ultra Marathon marks an important step in the development of endurance racing in Jordan.
